MOU Signing between Yeungnam University and RMUTT & International Capstone Design Project Participation

During 3 – 5 July 2014, Asst. Prof. Sommai Pivsa-Art, Ph.D, Vice President of Academic and Research and Assoc. Prof. Natha Kuptasthien, Ph.D, Assistant to President for International Relations, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, RMUTT visited Yeungnam University, South Korea. The collaboration has started since 2010 at the Faculty of Engineering between two universities. There were consecutively collaborative activities.      This year, both universities agree to promote the collaboration to university level. Vice President Sommai has carried RMUTT’s president signed MOU and signed it with Vice President of Yeungnam University followed by                     a presentation of tokens of appreciation.

เมื่อวันที่ 3 -5 กรกฏาคม 2557 ที่ผ่านมา มีการลงนามข้อตกลงความร่วมมือนานาชาติโครงการ Capstone Design Project   ระหว่าง Yeungnam University และ มทร.ธัญบุรี โดยผศ.ดร.สมหมาย ผิวสอาด รองอธิการบดี และ รศ.ดร.ณฐา คุปตัษเฐียร        ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดี มทร.ธัญบุรี ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชม Yeungnam University ณ ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ อีกทั้งข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ              ของคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ของทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยได้เริ่มขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2553 เป็นต้นมา

After the MOU signing ceremony, Vice President Sommai Pivsa-Art received an honor to give a speech at the 2014 Baja Society of Automotive Engineering Korea opening ceremony. This event gathered all universities in Korea and a few international universities to participate in the Baja Car Race.

หลังจากพิธีการลงนามในข้อตกลงดังกล่าวรองอธิการบดี ผศ.ดร.สมหมาย ผิวสอาด ได้รับเกียรติกล่าวปราศรัยในพิธีเปิดงาน     Baja Society of Automotive Engineering ณ ประเทศเกาหลี ในงานนี้ได้รวมมหาวิทยาลัยทั้งในเกาหลีและจากนานาชาติที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ the Baja Car Race ด้วย

            At the same time, Yeungnam University, by Center of Engineering Education leading by Professor Song Joo Dong has invited RMUTT to send 8 students and 2 faculty members to participate in the International Capstone Design Project Camp from June 30 to July 5, 2014. RMUTT has selected 7 students from faculty of engineering (mechanical, industrial and agricultural engineering departments) and 1 student from faculty of science and Technology to receive a great opportunity to work with international students.

ในขณะเดียวกัน มทร.ธัญบุรี ได้รับเชิญจาก Yeungnam University ศูนย์กลางแห่งการศึกษาด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์                    โดยศาสตราจารย์ Song Joo Dong มทร.ธัญบุรี ได้รับเชิญให้ส่งนักศึกษา 8 คน และนักศึกษาอีกสองคณะที่เข้าร่วมในโครงการนานาชาติ Capstone Design Project ระหว่างวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน – 5 กรกฎาคม 2557 มทร.ธัญบุรีได้คัดเลือกนักศึกษา 7คน       จากคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย สาขาวิศวกรรมเครื่องกล, วิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ และวิศวกรรมเกษตร และอีกหนึ่งคนจากคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสดีที่นักศึกษามทร.ธัญบุรีจะได้รับโอกาสในการทำงานร่วมกับนักศึกษาจากนานาชาติ
